Amazing Toscany gem!
We absolutely loved our stay at La Papessa.
The house was super spacious, clean and close to the pool.
We had a private outside area with table, chairs, an umbrella and a clothes drier rack.
Bonus, amazing sunsets!
Walking distance from San Donato (900m), with two restaurants that are super different but both very good.
We did have home meals during our stay, there is a grocery store in San Donato (COOP) and two specialty charcuterie shops.
I do recommend both Bars (caffès) for coffee and drinks (one has gelatos).
The location is center to many great must see villages and cities in Tuscany (Sienna, Firenze, San Giminiano, etc.)
Our family absolutely recommends La Popessa!
After 9 nights, we did not want to leave.
