”Lovely country hotel with large garden and free parking. Our room had a comfortable bed,fridge, fan and tv . The bathroom was clean with extra large towels. We ate at restaurant for 3 evenings. Menu had a good choice of meals and food was lovely. Restaurant was very busy so pre booking advised. We had a great breakfast each day with hot and cold selections. Bus stops outside to Whitby and Saltburn which was a bonus. Lovely hotel with wonderful staff and we would definately stay again”

”I arrived on a Sunday and had sent a message several days before to say that I would like an evening meal. I went to the dining area at 8pm only to be told that the kitchen had closed for the evening so I was unable to get anything to eat that evening although I was offered crisps. On arrival I was told that the bar would be open until late so I assumed that I would be able to get a bar meal up until about 10pm.
