Barrow Hotellit

”This Hotel does everything right. Firstly it's location is right next to Telford International Centre for conferences and exhibitions. Secondly it's a maximum 10 minutes walk to the South water development with a range of restaurants, Bella Italia etc, pubs, Hungry Horse, and entertainment Cineworld, Bowling Alley and more. It's well designed and easy to get to on foot( if the gate at the hotel is not closed you can cut across the Telford International Centre car park, making it even...

”My shower leaked so bathroom floor was wet all the time. There was mould in the shower .no Fridge. There was litter left in one corner of the room . Breakfast was pretty underwhelming but well staffed and managed. The bed was awful , lumpy and uncomfortable. Ill not be staying here again . It was cheap and I know why. Only one small lift for wheelchair users so if youre a large party or if u have lots of luggage better stay on the ground floor. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We...

”The service in the breakfast was great and helpful but products were ran out all the time. Staff was young overall and seemed unefficient. Room was beautiful and surrounding nice countryside, peaceful and pretty.”

”The person on reception was nice, they appeared to be working alone so did a good job. Polite and was quick to help. Hotel was grubby, noisy and in need of upgrading. Had to switch rooms as the first room (#10) the windows had a huge gap and wouldn't close so let in a lot of cold air. The second room was marginally improved but the heating wouldn't come on, shower head was disgusting so didnt use. Gaps under doors to the corridor meant you could hear all passers by. Far too expensive for...

”Highly recommend this hotel. Stayed in room 340 the largest in the hotel. Absolutely fabulous”

”Lämmin ja lämminhenkinen. Hyvä aamiainen. Siisti huone.”

”The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

”Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.”

”Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend.”

”I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

”A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area.”

”Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay.”

”Ideal location for a family visit & made our dog feel very welcome! Everywhere was beautifully decorated & the staff were very welcoming! Breakfast was amazing & we would definitely stay there again !! Well done to the Sutherland xx”

”The room was clean . The bedroom was small for a double, bed was very comfy but had a terrible squeak every time one person moved . The bathroom spacious and good shower. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Located very good for travelling around the area .”

”Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.”
