The rice terraces in Batad is more remote than Banaue, both located in the Cordillera region of the Philippines, It is about 5000 FT above sea levels. It is believed to be constructed by hands 2,000 years ago by the indigenous people of Ifugao. Photo courtesy of my good friend Nathan Gonzales.
