”We were truly blessed during our stay at this beautiful barndominium. ”First off the house I booked was not available and I was put in another house that was not clean. The house walls in the hallway were dirty in just about every room. The door knob on the restroom door was about to fall off. Broken furniture. I also paid more money for the house I originally booked and then did no t get to stay in it: The host was also terrible. She did not acknowledge how dirty this house was or the missing remotes to there in bedroom and the fact there was no ironing board or...

”I booked our stay at this property 1 week prior to check in. Shortly after I booked this property, I received an email from VRBO that my reservation was confirmed. While driving to the property on check in day we were 30 minutes from arriving at the property when I contacted the owner for check in procedures. I told the owner I was the person who booked the property for the weekend. The owner sounded confused and told me to hold on and hung up on me. Five minutes later I received a full refund...

”Half of the amenities that made it any different from a hotel or a rental that’s 60 cheaper isn’t there. It was a flat out lie. There was no “kitchenette”, walls with weird stains on them, strange smelling bath towels, no shower curtain, and an AC that wouldn't adjust. The site claimed there was a communal pool in the amenities but when we get there and see the pool, it was dirty and unavailable to swim in which was the main reason we booked in the first place. Bookings like this remind me that...

”The home is beautiful, and the host's communication was exceptional from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood, the peaceful atmosphere, and the stunning views. That said, for a property of this size and price point, we expected a few additional comforts and maintenance items to be addressed. The cookware was somewhat limited, the Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, and we noticed cobwebs and a few dead bugs inside the home upon arrival.Given the natural surroundings, some insects...
