”A friendly quiet stay. Overall very homely. The service was good and the food was lovely.”

”Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures”

”The room was clean and spacious. Has the usual complimentary hot drinks, hairdryer and also an iron and ironingboard. A choice of scrambled eggs, beans, bacon along witk a good range for a continental breakfast, served early from 6am both Saturday and Sunday, useful as I had to be a the event from 7.30am. Helpful, pleasant staff. Enjoyed my stay. Also this hotel was walking distance (5 mins) from the Telford indoor shopping centre where there was a large range of shops and places to eat.”

”I booked a normal standard room, but I was given an accessible room instead. Unfortunately, the room was extremely dirty, especially the bathroom. There was a significant amount of mould, the toilet looked like it had not been properly cleaned, and there were stains everywhere. I went to the staff to complain about the condition of the room, but I was told that I would have to pay extra to change rooms. I do not think this is reasonable, as the accessible room was not the room I originally...

”My room was more like a small apartment which was clean & comfortable & the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I didn’t get chance to try the restaurant but it was busy and smelt delicious, overall a very good value for money stay & I’ll definitely stay at the George again if I’m in town.”

”We had booked fir three nights, at a cost of over £250.00. We also booked a meal which was disappointing and with drinks cost over £60.00. It was not a good experience. There was no fan to aid ventilation in the room, bearing in mind that we have been in an extended heatwave, and the room was located in what would originally have been the attic and was extremely hot with only one window. On the way to our meal I explained the situation and requested a fan. The response was that they didn't think...

”Ideal place to stay whether on business or personal. Accommodation is separate block in carpark, which has plenty of parking. Marston’s restaurant food is excellent. Room was great with aircon if needed. Note 2 story with stairs, so best to phone if infirm so you can secure a first floor room. 8 full fat EV chargers on site, including Chademo.
