”Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the river room which was turkey and ham so delicious. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. ”As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant/bar area was beautiful and cozy. The hotel staff was welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bay window view of the sea was gorgeous. I will stay at the Avoca any time that I return to Newcastle.”

”I would 1000% go back again! The bathroom was super clean and the rooms were so nice and well decorated!”

”The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting.”
