”New property so was not sure what I would be walking into but the hotel is very charming! The area is quite with eating places in walking distance. 2 coffe shops to choose from on either side of the hotel. The room I chose to stay in was beautiful. I had the classic king suite which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Overall it was a very good experiance. The staff were very attentive and made suggestions to places to visit and eat. Will come back .Would love to see the final product...

”The hotel was convenient and easy to find. Parking lot was well lit, which was nice because it was my first time traveling with just myself and my daughter. The staff was friendly, easy to check in. The gym was clean and accessible, with plenty of equipment. Breakfast was served on time and it was hot with plenty of options.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and we felt very relaxed.
The only thing I would recommend would be alternate curtains that could be closed to keep the well lit parking...

"Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that.
Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to Georgetown, decently safe although some shady people in the streets nearby. If you're considering taking this as a base to explore Georgetown, I'd recommend you to think again.

"Positive things first: location is great (near metro and whole foods, walking distance to Georgetown, DuPont circle etc.), the room was big and had a real kitchen. Some of the staff members were super nice and helpful and some were not. But the room was not only really outdated but partially almost falling apart. And the cleaning was also so and so or then the room was just so worn-out that it just looked dirty no matter how much cleaning was done. Not going back before major renovations. "
