”Used the spa - staff in spa were lovely. Though two masseuses. both my partner and I booked the same treatment. We had completely different experiences. Both half hour one finished after 20 mins and one was full half hour. Lunch with the spa - the spa man who was lovely had to serve it. The restaurant staff refused to do anything. Didn’t clear plates nothing. 4 tables in there and 5 staff stood behind the bar talking ignoring my presence for a few minutes, I left and returned and when I asked...

”This was an outstanding stopover for a couple of nights. A most welcoming hostess, overseeing our visit throughout. The room, although not large, was clean and well maintained, and like the rest of the property spick and span. Breakfast was outrageously generous, both in size and content. The location is very quiet and highly suited to visiting local attractions, being only 5 mins drive from Aldeburgh and 10 mins from Snape, with car parking well provided on site. Thoroughly recommended.”

”We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.”
