Modern, family-friendly, nature packed getaway

Modern Scandinavian inspired home with all the necessities for a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by nature and easy access to top notch hiking trails, while being just minutes north of all downtown Berkeley Springs has to offer. Only 2 hours outside DC!

Guest access
Guest will have full access to the home, 2.3 wooded valley acre property with two decks and an outdoor firepit area.

Other things to note
Wifi is strong enough to join video calls or stream your favorite shows on the two smart TVs or your personal devices. Rare for the area!

Just a short walk down the road you can access the Blue Dot trail and walk less than a mile to Spruce Pine Hollow Park where you can jump on the beautiful Tuscarora Trail!

Renovated in 2022, the home gives you a clean Scandinavian feel with modern amenities. Kitchen includes all utensils, pots and pans, a full range and oven, microwave, full refrigerator, coffee maker, and kitchen island.

We offer an indoor wood burning fireplace for a touch of hygge those cold nights, and an outdoor fire pit to make s'mores or stargaze. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend away from home, or fun for the entire family, Simply Scandi is the perfect place for your next getaway.

The host Brooke was slow to respond to me, inflexible, not accommodating, and rude. Seems only interested in the money, not in establishing a relationship that would have made a huge difference in my consideration to rent again. It's not an ideal house or property, being very close to the road. Needs to be properly set up and stocked for the max number of people advertised.

Cozy cabin stay!

Stayed here for an overnight staff retreat. The cabin had everything we needed and was the perfect size and vibe for our team. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

The house was well renovated and very clean. Furniture looked good and comfy. Fire pit was at the front yard and we enjoyed it after 7pm and making noise at night was not an issue because the house was located with enough distance to other neighbors.

i hope to return to this property soon. It is absolutely beautiful as well as the location, nestled off the beaten path. It is very peaceful. We could only stay one night and wish to return and enjoy for a longer duration.

Peaceful weekend

This was a perfect place to escape for a weekend. It rained the whole weekend, so we didn’t get to explore any trails, but the house was cozy and peaceful for a weekend of relaxing with a book.

Fun getaway

Hello! My friends and I enjoyed a great stay at this cute modern cabin in the woods. The space was super clean and comfortable. Our only comment is that the space sleeps 6 but only had 4 dining chairs, 4 fire pit chairs and 3 deck chairs. The kitchen was also not equipped with enough plates, flatware, glasses and mugs for more than 4 people (we had 5). We also cooked dinner there and there were not any serving utensils, baking dishes, etc. It was very sparse! I recommend stocking the kitchen a little more and maybe adding some chairs. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Very nice place. Great bedding!

The house was very clean and inviting. The beds were comfy and had nice bedding. Lots of space for up to six adults. Definitely need to add curtains or blinds to the windows. Felt like we were in a fishbowl! I recommend this property if they cover the windows.

Quick night away

Came with a friend for a two day one night trip to Berkeley springs to get a massage and do some hiking. House is beautiful inside. All amenities one needs. Clean. Not cluttered at all. Open spaces. Beds were comfortable. Privacy. It’s a little far from town and we walked a bit around the property but not lots there. But easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommend.

Brooke and Nate What a wonderful little home to be in on a getaway weekend. This home was very clean, cozy, and secluded enough out of town to feel like you were alone from society. It is also close enough to town to go out to eat or shop. My wife, 2 friends and myself stayed the weekend. We all highly recommend this home and hope that Brooke and Nate would allow us to rent again. 5 gold stars in our book.

Short but sweet

Very clean and spacious home. A little far out from skiing and town but secluded and nice views. Nicely stocked and all new appliances. I would add a couple more rugs in bathrooms maybe a dresser in main bedroom. Ice would have been nice too maybe? Overall very cozy!
