Old Farm Home at the Vineyard in Ohio

Romantic Getaway!
Our experience was wonderful from the moment we booked until we left! My husband and I rented Brenda and Bob's beautiful farm house for a much needed weekend alone without any kids. Our plan was to just shut off from the busy world, and the house was absolutely perfect for just that! It was so peaceful, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and every room in the house was just beautifully put together. Brenda added so many extra touches to the home and for our guest experience. We truly feel blessed for finding their beautiful home in the perfect location, even for a cold weekend. We also really enjoyed some local antique shopping and great little local restaurants in the area! Oh, and definitely book massages - the masseuses came to the house and were incredible! We can't wait to come back and bring a few friends next time! Thank you for the memorable experience!!

A perfect retreat
We came on a pastors retreat and the house was perfect for sitting by the fire working a jigsaw puzzle. The owner was adjusting the hot tub balance but it was available when we wanted it. It has no canopy over it, but it has a great rack for towels and cell phones and a great view of the vineyard. The on site massages were very nice. The stairs to the second floor are ridiculously steep, but the rooms up there are fabulous and worth the climb. The kitchen is made for very tall people but it was more than adequate. The house has well water, but we appreciated the water dispenser with bottled water. Plus lots of fluffy towels and robes. A gas fireplace in every bedroom plus the living room, which we used a lot, plus a BBQ grill and gas fire pit on the patio. We had a little issue and the owners were very quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Check in and out were easy--a code to get in, and leave dishes in dishwasher and take out the trash on the way out. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Relaxing Birthday weekend
We came to have a relaxing Birthday weekend for our oldest daughter with games, good food, messages and family time. The house was Perfect. So charming with a perfect mix of antique and modern amenities. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Brenda was very accommodating and added such sweet special touches from snacks to welcoming notes. We also enjoyed the winery in the back yard near by as well as the Prop House Restaurant which is a must try. Wonderful weekend.

We were in town for my nephews wedding. The house was clean and plenty of room for me and several family members to stay. We would definitely stay here again. The host had snacks and chocolates for us, plenty of brochures on attractions and restaurants. House had beautiful views. Didn’t get to check out winery this time but definitely will next time.

Family wedding/get-a-way
We had a wedding to attend, in the area. Rather than driving an hour and a half, each way, we opted to find a place close by and make it a get-a-way, as well. What a great find!! The bedrooms are sweetly appointed and the individual bathrooms are amazing. Each room has it's own charm and fireplace. The common rooms are spacious enough for everyone to gather and hang out. Sitting on the deck with the fire pit going, taking in the view of the vineyard, was very relaxing. Loved the hot tub. It was so cool, to be able to walk over the winery to enjoy their wine and listen to the live music. We will, definitely recommend Bella Fattoria to anyone looking to get-a-away, for a few days.

Clean, Quiet getaway
We visited for a family wedding nearby. The house was very clean and the owner left some very nice welcoming touches for all of our guests. It was located on a beautiful property steps from the winery. Plenty of towels for everyone, even enough for enjoying the clean and relaxing hot tub. We were only a few minutes drive to Lake Milton if we needed any supplies (food, beverages, etc). Definitely recommend for anyone, young, old, families, just friends.

Perfect Girl's Weekend Away!
My friends and I loved this house and location. So clean, great amenities and location was great so close to the winery. We really enjoyed sitting on the roomy deck, catching up with each other and using the hot tub. Brenda, the host, was quick to respond to all my questions.

Adorable farmhouse
We came in from out of town to visit all our family that live locally. We absolutely loved staying at this location. The house is a very cute old farmhouse that has an updated bed and bathroom rooms, with firplaces, jacuzzi tubs etc. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, the owners added nice touches ie chocolates, teas, coffee and all the necessities. The bonus that we loved was the firepit and hot tub. It was warm during the day but we used the hot tub and firepit every night. I highly recommend this location. You can tell the owmer take a lot of pride of their property and making sure the guest have the best experience. We will be back!

This house was the perfect place for a quiet girls weekend away! We had a lovely time hanging out here, and loved being able to walk to the winery. The weather was beautiful so we spent much of our time on the deck looking out over the grape harbors. We were looking for a place to spend the weekend catching up with one another and this was the perfect place to do just that.

Best friend girl’s weekend
We found this beautiful house and chose it because of the proximity to Hartville and the fact it had a winery in back. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and was very comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend this house! I would love to go back. Hartville is only a half hour away and had so many awesome shops and the flea market. ❤️

Thank you Jennifer. Hartville is a fun place to visit with its flea market and largest hardware store in the country. Have you ever heard of Shaker Woods? They have three events per year on their property with many artisan vendors at their arts and crafts festival, antiques in the woods and Christmas in the woods festivals. Just 30 min from the house also. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We would love to have you visit again!

Excellent House, Excellent Hosts
Property is beautiful and well-appointed. Each bedroom was so nice and had beautiful bathtubs and showers for luxuriating. We had a problem due to a nasty storm blowing through and knocking out power, and as soon as I informed the host, she made sure to get us what we needed to be comfortable and worked to get information from the power company for us. Very thoughtful and helpful! Only thing to note is that it is on well water that doesn't taste good. The host provided a bunch of bottled water, but if you are a large group staying for more than a few days you might want to bring some additional jugs if you're sensitive to the taste of hard well water. Overall, one of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had.

Much needed getaway
My wife and I wanted to get out of town and just relax a weekend away and this place was perfect. Three full bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and an extra bed on the top floor would be large enough for group but the first floor setup was perfect for us. The hot tub was off to the side enough that you didn’t feel like you were on display for everyone while being open enough to view parts of the vineyard. Nearly everything was recently remodeled and modern but still had a country feel. We will be back

The perfect quiet getaway
This property was perfect for a quiet getaway. Brenda and Bob were very easy to get in touch with and the home is equipped with numerous amenities. I definitely recommend signing up for a massage during your visit. The massage room in the garage is perfectly crafted for a relaxing retreat. Additionally, Dan runs a sweet and charming winery right behind the house with amazing customer service and a beautiful outdoor patio, a perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine or 2. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice, quiet break from every day life.

Great stay for ladies weekend!
Had a great stay for our annual ladies weekend at the Bella Frattoria cottage. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. Having 3 en suites was a huge plus! We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. We could hear music from the winery while hanging outside. Walking to the winery from the property was great and we really enjoyed that. Otherwise, we had to drive about 20 minutes to get anywhere but we found some great food spots! Prop House for dinner was excellent and Mocha House and Korner Restaurant for breakfast. We also hiked at Lantermans Mill. Overall, we had a great stay!

We had such a nice getaway at this country cottage …. You feel like you’re in wine country with the view of the vineyard and the decor took you back in time. Quiet, serene, beautiful! We hated to leave.

Girls Trip
What a lovely place to stay. We are a group of 6 women who used to work together and try to have a getaway a few times a year. Our 'Gathering of the Goddesses' is an event we always look forward to and this location was perfect. The accommodations were perfectly suited for us. We could walk to the Winery or lounge on the deck. Beds were so comfortable and having a bathroom with each bedroom was perfect. We will definitely come again!

Quaint, clean and comfortable!
Our family really enjoyed our weekend, as we were in town for a family wedding. The place was clean and neat as a pin. The beds were so comfortable and each had its own en suite bathroom. There are 2 massage tables in the luxury “garage” and the therapist is brought on site. Also, it is an easy walk to the next door winery. Delightful! We are hoping to stay again soon.
