Hieno pikkuhotelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva hotelli. Parin korttelin päässä metroasema ja hyvät ostosmahdollisuudet. Economy- huoneet pieniä, mutta tyylikkäästi sisustettuja ja kaikki tarvittava löytyy. Ainoa miinus oli, että hissi oli poissa käytöstä koko vierailumme ajan!

Huone oli TODELLA pieni kahdelle aikuiselle, sänky myös todella pieni. Ilmastointi oli säädettävissä, joten onneksi ei sentään ollut kuuma. Huone oli huonosti siivottu, esim. siitepölyä ikkunalaudalla, pölyä silminnähden sängynpäädyllä, yöpöydällä, kylpyhuoneessa. Pöytiä ei pyyhitty koko neljän päivän matkamme aikana. Suihkukoppimme vuosi lattialle niin, että koko kylpyhuone lainehti suihkun jälkeen ja esim. vessassa käyminen kuivin jaloin oli mahdotonta. Mainitsimme tästä henkilökunnalle vastaanottotiskillä ja hän antoi ymmärtää että tekisivät asialle jotain, mitään ei kuitenkaan tapahtunut. Aamiainen ihan ok. Sijainti rauhallisella alueella, suht lähellä metroa.

Good hotel in good location
Good medium sized hotel near excellent transport connections. In the heart of the gay village - lovely little coffee shops nearby. Good basic services available. Rooms ok size, walls paper thin - you can hear EVERYTHING going on.

Rauhallinen hotelli, sopiva kävelymatka kahdelle metroasemalle, jonkin verran ruokaravintoloita kävelyetäisyydellä, aamiainen ei näyttävästi esille laitettu, mutta sopivan kattava, ei mitään turhaa. Ympäristön ruokaravintoloissa suurimmassa osassa tyypillinen saksalainen tympeähkö palvelu.

Hotelli oli erinomainen! Sisäänkirjautuminen onnistui heti hotellille saavuttua (klo 10). Huoneemme oli erittäin siisti ja puhdas. Alue oli viihtyisä ja lähellä paljon kahviloita. Suuri ostoskatu noin 7min kävelymatkan päässä.

very desing
The desing was nice as in the pictures. Clean hotel. Minus is that you could hear all the noices from the hallway, especially when people were closing doors. It was like an explosion every time. Quite funny that there was a wall sized window in the toilet to the room. Near kudamm shopping street but actually the best place to go shopping is in Mitte or Schloss strasse. Metro stop near so all the places are accessible. The breakfast was little bit below average, no bacon!

The price was good. The location was nice. Cafe, supermarket, subway. Nice garden. The room however had to many defects ( hair dryer, front door, telephone, missing toilet door ). Not suitable for 2 people if you wish to use the toilet.

By far, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I stayed in one of the rooms on the lower ground floor, and it was in a small corridor by the cleaning/housekeeping room, so was extremely noisy all day from 07.00 until 5pm with banging and shouting, and singing. The corridor has a tiled floor instead of the usual carpet, so made the noise even worse, whereas a carpet would muffle it. There was an alarm going off in the boiler room for 24 hours overnight , so thst made sleepong even more difficult. There were about 5 or 6 other rooms in here, as well as a noisy lift door, so it was constantly in use. Inside the room, the TV was broken, WiFi signal to week to work, and the walls we scuffed, marked and scratched. For some reason there is a telephone in the showery room, but no hook to hang a towel on. Additionally the shower cubicle leaks water out, and there is no bath mat/towel provided, so you have to step out of the shower onto wet slippery tiles. Aldo the shower cubicle and relaon hsd a string stink of mould and drains. It's ironic this is called 'Design hotel' as it is the design that has let it down, by not thinking about how poor design impacts the guest experience.

Quentin Design hotel is located very centrally, close to public transport. A good range of shops and eateries located close by. The room itself was quite disappointing. There were several issues with our room that both the hotel staff and Expedia could not help us with. While we had these things “looked into” we could not come to a solution and we dreaded coming back to the place each day. Major issues included: broken AC, leaking plumbing and cold showers. The bed was comfortable which was a plus. The AC was broken, the room would heat continuously up to 26 degrees. Tv would not broadcast channels. Had lots of issues with the plumbing. Sink leaked, which was fixed. Shower did not work properly. There was no hot water for the first two days during our stay and very poor water pressure. Our room did not have a toilet door. The room was not serviced/cleaned during our stay. No laundry service, falsely stated on website. Basic things like milk, coffee, shampoo and bath mat/face towels, hand towels were not provided in our room. Also note that the rooms aren’t soundproof.

TOTAL RUNTERGEKOMMEN. Im ersten Zimmer lag der kaputte Wasserhahn abgebrochen neben dem Waschbecken - im zweiten Zimmer war der Wasserhahn so angebracht, dass man den Hebel nicht nach links (warmes Wasser) drehen konnte (stiess an das Waschbecken. Das Wasser zum duschen dauerte länger als 10 Minuten, bis es lauwarm wurde, der Druck lies im Laufe des duschens nach und wurde wieder kühler, der Duschkopf war so verkalkt, dass nur aus der Hälfte der Düsen Wasser kam, ebenso der Wasserhahn. Der Spiegel im Bad war kaputt, es gab keine Klobürste. Sofa war fleckig und es fehlten die Rückenkissen. Das Zimmer war kalt und man konnte über die Klimaanlage nur kühlen, nicht wärmen. Die Heizkörper, auch im Bad waren kalt und konnten nicht angedreht werden. Über Sauberkeit allgemein will ich erst garnicht reden,....... die Damen am Empfang allerdings waren sehr höflich und entschuldigten sich für die Misere - was mir aber leider nichts geholfen hat. Man sah an der Einrichtung, dass da mal eine schöne Idee dahinter gesteckt hat, nur mittlerweile total ungepflegt und heruntergekommen.

Good enough as a base, but needs a clean
Modern looking hotel and rooms and overall quite comfortable. The breakfast was not great on the first day, better on the second and the third day there was "an issue with the kitchen" so no breakfast was offered meaning we had to . Thankfully a refund was sorted. Cleanliness overall was ok, however our room was not very clean - dust all over the place, mug fallen down behind the safe and walls had a couple stains. I would recommend for a quick stay, as it was great as a base and we didn't spend a lot of time there. Staff seemed lovely and the service was nice.

Dusche dreckig, kaputt (nicht abgedichtet - Bad schwimmt nach dem Duschen) und Duschkopf stark verkalkt, sodass kaum Wasser raus kommt. Waschbecken (Siffon) undicht und tropft unten, Waschbecken wackelt, kein Fön verfügbar, keine Handtücher im Zimmer (erst nach Aufforderung bekommen), Zimmer etwa so groß wie eine Schuhschachtel und ohne Aufhängemöglichkeit - keine Garderobenhaken etc. Frühstück in Ordnung aber bei Wurst und Käse leider keine Auswahl (nur Salami und Gouda) Personal spricht kein Deutsch - nur Englisch Zimmerservice/Reinigung nur auf Aufforderung an der Rezeption. TV funktioniert nur bedingt (drei Programme). Für einen Wochenendtrip okay, für mehr leider aber auch nicht..

Don't stay at that hotel
It was dirty. My mother caught Corona virus. The television wouldn't come on, the phone cable was ripped out of the wall, someone had taken off with the espresso machine. I complained each day and they never came to fix anything. The shower rod wouldn't stay up. Very unclean. Rude unhelpful people. And it was located in the homosexual red light district. Not a place for you and your 84 year old mother. The hotel claimed it was newly renovated, but it wasn't even finished. Most of the electric sockets didn't even work

Curtain rods falling out
Cleaning ladies shut the balcony door closed on the curtain and it wouldn't go back up or down

Okay, aber nie mehr
Der Ckeck-in war unbefriedigend. Erst auf Nachfrage erfuhr man das Zeitfenster für das Frühstück, das WLAN-Passwort wurde nicht mitgeteilt. Das Zimmer entsprach den Erwartungen, das Bett war sehr bequem, der Strassenlärm nicht spürbar. Erholsamer Schlaf ist garantiert. Leider funktionierte der Fernseher nicht, auch nicht nach 4 Tagen, obwohl wir es sofort gemeldet hatten. Handtücher waren keine vorhanden, wie auch kein Duschgel. Das in einem 4* Hotel, in welchem die Nacht über 260€ kostet. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte nur auf Verlangen, was auch nicht einer Unterkunft dieser Kategorie entspricht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Wir schätzten die Lage, nahe einer UBahn- Station.

The hotel is in an excellent location for me, easily walkable and close to public transit, good restaurants. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and looks very good. The carpet on the stairs of my room was quite stained making it a little gross to walk on. Also, most of the electricity receptacles in my room didn’t work and were not fixed while I was there. We found one that did work but didn’t realize that when I turned off the master light switch, it also turned off the power to that receptacle. I ended up having to charge all my devices in the bathroom. Little things in the bathroom were in need of repair. That being said, I would return and can recommend this hotel.
