”This was a good experience. The only issue was the wardrobe was a shelf with a few hangers and no drawers, so we basically kept everything in a suitcase, but we only stayed for 3 nights, so maybe other rooms had more storage. The room was spacious and very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice. There was also a reasonably comprehensive evening menu. Recommended.”

”For the cost of the hotel I expected better service. There was one waiter serving from the bar and we sat on the lawned terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to serve us so I had to ask reception to send someone. The spa is very old and desperately in need of a full refurbishment. The food was fairly good but considering the cost wasn’t worth it as I've eaten better three course meals for less in many other top restaurants. ”We stayed for one night while visiting Wales. The check in experience was fine and staff friendly. The room was OK - we could hear sounds from other rooms in the morning and the bathroom had mould spots near bath taps, but other than that it was clean and pretty comfortable. Restaurant looked really nice which I guess is the reason why almost all the photos are of the restaurant. English breakfast tasted good! Thank you.”
