”We had a fantastic time at this cottage!! Love how peaceful and secluded it is. After a day at the beach we came back to the cottage and put some Fleetwood Mac on the record player ( all provided!). Great memories for sure! This area of Michigan is just lovely. Can't wait for next summer! Thank You, Cottage in the woods!”

”It's an octagon-shaped house, which makes for some interesting interior angles, but it works fine. The kitchen was well-equipped. Except for the roomy kitchen, the space felt a bit tight for our two couples and two dogs, but we were mostly out exploring during daylight hours so it wasn't a problem. The location is great. You can walk to Cherry Republic and Glen Arbor. It is convenient to the majority of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. In fact, within a half a mile is a trailhead for the...

”Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. ”

”Was able to rent two properties for a family get together. Very comfortable and clean. Nice touch with all the amenities they offer. Location by the water was serene, especially in the morning sitting outside with coffee. Parking places well marked. Management responded to questions quickly. ”

”“Mi Happy Place” became our happy place for a few glorious nights. Emily was incredibly gracious leaving us several unexpected goodies like a s’mores bag and fresh bread and cherries. Watching the full moon rise over the lake was an added bonus! The house is cozy with luxe finishes and furnishings, soft bedding and all the modern conveniences. A 5-star stay all around! ”
