”Absolutely loved our stay in cabin number 4 with my family. It was the perfect location for exploring the beautiful peninsula and made for a great home base. Loved that it was dog friendly.. the cement patio was great and fire pit helped keep the bugs away. Cabins are modern with big shower and hot water but are still so cozy… the glass sliding doors looking into the woods was key to feeling like you are alone in the woods. Kids enjoyed having the tv for down time in between our adventures too. ”

”My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. ”Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. ”We loved staying in an iconic mushroom house (smallest one I think) and the house is surprisingly spacious. The design of the “Half House” is well-organized inside, you just feel like an oversized person in a hobbit house in the most adorable way (yes, ceiling height was great!). The fireplace was our favorite feature. Our host was kind and gracious, all amenities were supplied and we just loved it here. ”

”We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area. ”

”Great spot on the Grand River! Lots of kayaks and 2 SUPs to explore the nearby side lake. Lovely host. Great back deck, board games, decor, well stocked kitchen for cooking. No dishwasher but lots of paper products. Yucky water but lots of bottled water. ”
