”Breakfast was very good, but parking was a nightmare. Information said the railway station was open until 19.30 .. we went to look ... 18.00! There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. ”We enjoyed our recent stay in a ground floor, twin bed, en-suite room. There was handy parking, a friendly welcome, a lovely clean and comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was warm and cosy, and we would be happy to stay again.”

”Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. ”The staff were lovely especially the young man who checked us in and explained everything we needed. The food was fantastic we ate at the pub that night and stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic .”

”Everything and everyone at The Baiting House is almost perfect. The hot tub was clean and hot, the lodge was clean but too warm! The bed comfy and the facilities adequate. Could have done with a little more privacy around the hot tub. Some people were walking their dog off lead and it wasn’t controlled and worried our dog but other than that all was good. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was delicious. Could not have asked for better. Will be returning as soon as possible! ”
