”I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so friendly which added to the perfect environment. My room was very clean and perfectly positioned to catch the light in the morning. I had the most luxurious massage (thanks Stephanie) and I'm already planning my next visit.
The grounds are immaculate and I loved seeing the ducks in the moat.
Kris and Gemma were on the front desk. They were very attentive and appear to genuinely love there job.

”Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
