We checked in on a Saturday night in the pouring rain and the staff were so welcoming even with a full bar and restaurant. They had even kept a table open for us at the restaurant. ”The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, which didn't feel like they were actively being worked at. Almost felt like time was standing still. Hallways smelled like filler materials, but the room itself was small and cosy. Unfortunately there was no hot water coming from the shower nor from the tap in the bathroom. TV did turn on, but the picture was glitching due to some cable/antenna interference or damage. Otherwise nothing more to complain about. Not too bad for the cheap price...

Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but...
