”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RT Lodge. Staff was fantastic! They were all well put together polite and were there to help you with anything that you needed. The restaurant was delicious and had new things for us to try! The Lodge is nestled in the woods in Maryville, it was a great location that made you feel away when you were in the city.”

”Kind of a run down location. Bed was pretty comfortable but the bathroom looked a little rough. Old shower head, not very hot water and not very hard pressure. Breakfast was not very good at all. The waffle maker had stuck on waffles and even after someone tried to clean it, it happened again. Very limited options. Wet and soggy eggs, hard as a rock biscuits, runny gravy. Don't stay here for the free breakfast. We booked last minute after flight cancelations.”

”I have stayed in this hotel twice primarily for the convenience of location to airport and many restaurants. As an IHG platinum member I was not recognized upon check in. I was in room 106 first visit which was located very close to front desk and dining hall. It was very noisy in the morning. I requested room on higher level at end of hall, however was given room 110 on second visit which I experienced same problem. Upon arrival the room appeared clean, yet it had a musty odor. ”The shining star of Best Western was the lady who worked the desk and drove the shuttle to the airport. She was extremely gracious and polite.”

”This hotel is right next to the Knoxville airport which allows someone to walk from baggage claim to the hotel in 5 minutes. The restaurant and staff at the hotel are wonderful. The problem is the the hotel is old and tired. In our room, we were unable to charge our phone, IPad, etc. Because the outlets available for this use didn't hold our cable plugs securely so the items didn't charge. It could be a great stopover but it needs major updating.”

”DISGUSTING!!!! I have NEVER left a bad review until now. This place was absolutely awful. Roaches crawling on the walls. Stains on the towels. A brown poop looking substance on the wall beside the toilet. Staines that appeared to be either blood or Taco Bell sauce on walls and doors. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Floors unswept. Worms walking on the walls. Stains on curtains. This was a first and last for me within 10 minutes of walking into the room.”

”The complimentary water, snacks and delicious cookies are such a nice bonus. All the staff so friendly. Coffee bar downstairs and breakfast really nice. Super clean with a mini kitchen was great.”

”I didnt like the smell in the lobby or the strip lights in the room. The bathroom looked like the bathtub had been refinished poorly and not cleaned behind the bathroom door. The pool looked like it hadn't been open for years. There were bricks in the bottom with no water. We arrived about 1:00 and she did let us check in use til 3:00. When leaving the parking lot the road was so busy that you had to wait forever before you could make a right turn. You couldn't turn left from there because of...

”My experience was average. The place had a smell that I didn’t find pleasant, and the walls showed several imperfections that could be improved. I understand it’s a budget option, but with a bit more maintenance it could offer a better experience. I stayed out of necessity, although I personally wouldn’t choose it again.”

Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again.”
