”It was a delightful quaint exclusive country inn - a real treat to stay. ”

”Staff is lovely. We stayed in the Shenandoah suite. It’s a very private tucked away room with a little patio which is why I picked it. Be aware, though, if you choose it that there are two rather large steps down to go into the bathroom! We enjoyed the breakfast that was delivered to the room immensely. Overall, quite a nice stay in a beautiful, historic inn.”

”We were most impressed about the outstanding friendliness and hospitality of the staff. Felt like in a Japanese Ryokan where the guest is king. One hick-up with the restaurant at the first night, which was charmingly fixed by the management.”

”Love staying here, quiet and everything I need for an overnight stay with my little dogs. Their generator did great for cooling the apartment when there was a power outage in the area due to thunderstorms.”

”This is a wonderful property tucked out-of-the way is a cozy home on a beautiful property overlooking the mountains, with a pool and a gazebo. ”This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. ”No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean,historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family. ”

”We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”
