”This hotel left me totally speechless. No water pressure in shower, had to go to the gym for shower. Gym was in awfull outdated dirty condition. Lockerroom was even worse. Then got a fine for parking. When checking in, I had to leave the vehichle registration number but I was never informed by the check in person that parking is chargeable. Why should I ever visit this hotel again?”

”Stopped over whilst on business. Check in was great, the room was as good as I’ve seen and everything seemed brand new. Free car charging was a great bonus too. One very minor thing was they had super soft pillows or rock hard ones and nothing in between. ”

”Overall the property was beautiful set in stunning grounds, very quiet. The room was very clean & very comfortable the only downside was at breakfast, if was a buffet breakfast (help yourself) they had everything you could desire but the food was either Luke warm or cold & a full English should be piping hot. The staff to were very polite & very professional.would of given 5stars but a poor breakfast let the establishment down.”

”If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building”

”One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The bar food and breakfast were both very nice and the bar prices are very reasonable compared to some other hotel brands. We stayed in a junior suite which was very nice indeed. The decor is very modern and appealing and the conditions room is a little gem too. My plans now are to return to play some golf here some time soon. Special mention to the member of staff who went the extra mile by escorting us to our room. ”
