”Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. ”We had a fabulous 3 night mid-week stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and really friendly and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. We had intended to find other places to eat during our stay but the food was so good here there was absolutely no point. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

”Everything was smooth, and service above and beyond. I did not personally love the layout of the rooms especially in terms of plugs, as these could be difficult to find (even behind someone's head on the bed headboard), however this is a very tiny thing and generally speaking everything went well and was easy. ”We enjoyed a nice few days in this peaceful hotel which had everything we needed. We particularly chose this hotel for its close proximity to the chair lift down the cliff to the beach ,giving a flat walkway along the beach and then back up using the lift.. Due to a landslip this lift was out of action which severely curtailed our access to the main part of Bournemouth. Due to mobility issues it was necessary to take a taxi to and from the hotel. Sadly this means we would not book this hotel...
