The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. No reserved parking is available at the hotel, only regular street parking. The hotel itself is very barebones, with a tiny reception area and a very narrow...

”The room was warm, comforatble and completely clean. The cleaners were excellent. Loved the complimentary drinks in the fridge and biscuits/crips. James was exceptionally helpful when I asked about the fridge and dinner. Parking was plentiful and easy. I didn't eat there but there is a supermarket open till 10PM and a KFC a couple of minutes walk away. I would certainly stay here again. Thanks.”

”Lovely cosy hotel with loads of history and great location. Room was clean, if a bit cramped and bed comfortable. A mirror other than the one in the bathroom would have been Lovely friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.”

”Easy to access, nice look, room was spacious and bed was excellent. Bar was open until 23:00 and had common beers in a tap, food was good, a bit bland to my taste but fresh and good quality. Wifi was slow.”

Hotellin vieressä oli hyvä aamiaisravintola. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hinta-laatu suhde oli ihan loistava. Voin suositella lämpöisesti muillekin matkaajille.”
