Ylellinen huvila, joka sijaitsee Melia Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa -hotellin 5 tähden lomakohteessa, vain muutaman askeleen päässä upeasta Ponta Preta -rannasta. Tämän huvilan sijainti on täydellinen valinta niille, jotka etsivät täydellistä rentoutumista lomakylpylämahdollisuuksilla tai seikkailunhaluisemmalle tyypille, jotka pyrkivät parantamaan leija- tai surffaustaitojaan, koska Santa Mariasta on nopeasti tulossa keskusta kaikille vesiurheilulajeille, joilla on monia erittäin korkealuokkaisia täällä toimivat taitavat ohjaajat. Huvila sijaitsee yksityisissä ja kauniisti maisemoiduissa puutarhoissa, joissa on oma uima-allas. se on sisustettu ammattimaisesti kaikkialla korkealaatuisilla suunnittelijakalusteilla. Huvilalla on täysi näkymä tilavista parveke- / patioalueista, joista on runsas terassihuonekalut ja bistro-sarjat kaikille ulkoilmaruokailulle Kap Verdellä on ylellisyys nauttia ympäri vuoden auringonpaisteesta. Santa Marian kaupunki on kävelymatkan päässä ja tarjoaa laajan valikoiman kauniita ravintoloita ja baareja, jotka sopivat kaikille.

BEWARE... falsely advertised!!
The location of this villa made our holiday, sadly this is the only positive. A lot of the things in the property description are not accurate It is listed in facilities/amenities that the villa has wifi - It does not! Wifi is available at the hotel only Beautiful landscaped gardens - Not true! We had to request for the grass to be cut when we got there, overgrown and weedy Sumptuous patio furniture & bistro set - Not true! You do not get the lovely rattan cushioned sunbeds as seen in the pictures. Instead it has 6, not 8, uncomfortable plastic blue & white sunbeds. The outdoor dining table needs replaced, big holes in one chair, very very old and tatty Pool was not ready for our use. The outdoor space was the biggest disappointment. Not at all like the pictures in the advert. Not a nice well maintainedgarden at all. Was not luxury, as described. Inside the propery... pretty accurate looks wise but nowifi as stated in the description, and the dishwasher didn't work. Most of the property was clean accept one of the bathrooms, the shower cubical was disgusting. The host's response to this was pretty much 'we were 3 people in an 8 person villa, we didn't need all 3 bathrooms'... shocking!!! Just be aware, the outside space does not look like the pictures. These pictures were clearly taken when the property was first built more than 10 years ago - updated pictures are needed! Fabulous location at a beautiful beach and for this we still had a lovely holiday on Sal Island

Good location, but be ready to work on your vacay....
Let me start this review off by saying that I travel frequently. I've stayed in vacation rentals before and not had this experience. The pros... Roby is extremely responsive via HomeAway messaging; Location ...the villa is steps always from beach and one of the resort restaurants; Kitchen is good size. We cooked breakfast almost everyday. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc. Challenges Our first challenge was checkin. Our flight was severely delayed, so we arrived at the resort ~ 12Midnight...and the resort had no record of our reservation. There is no way to tie the HomeAway reservation information to the resort/villa. The only thing that saved me was that the owner's name is written somewhere in the contract. None of the numbers - not Roby's and not the owner's - worked. Both I and the resort tried to call both #s several times; The villa was in ok condition - not dirty but also not the cleanest. The floors were stained. If you looked in corners or under beds, there was dust and debris. It was very difficult to keep the villa tidy and presentable while we were there - given the very basic cleaning tools that are provided (a non-working vacuum, a mop, and a shabby broom); No maid service means no trash removal. Technically, in order to take out the trash you have to walk all the way (~1/3 mile/5-7 minute walk) to the front of the resort, exit the resort, and goto the left (somewhere) to deposit trash. Or you can "make friends" with the resort people, and maybe they will pickup your trash; No maid service also means no laundry service. The villa has only a washer - no dryer. Makes for challenging times; Limited villa security - many windows do not lock and none have screens and the safe does not work, so your valuables and passports are not secure during your stay; The owner has invested very little in the property - there is limited linens on the beds, there are weeds in front and back yards, and limited towels for guests; There are only 2 air conditioners in the entire villa - one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. The living room AC is meant to cool the entire villa - which is impossible. Luckily, it was cool enough that opening a window helped - but then you have visitors like mosquitoes and cats come in.... Note...You must get up super early if want a pool or beach spot. The resort is a fairly low end Melia and does not have nearly enough pool or beach chairs for its guests.

Walking distance to Punta Preta
Had a great stay at Cabo Verde, rented a beach front villa from Roby. Perfect location between Punta Preta and Bikini Beach. The Villa was fully equipped with 2 TV's, washing machine, dish washer, m.m. The area felt safe, and the hotel had a very nice pool area, and the food was great, with a waterfront restaurant only 30 meters from The Villa. Taxi to Santa Maria only 3€ and 5€ to kite beach. Highly recommended, we will return :-)

Lovely seafront Villa
Stayed here for 1 week with 3 kids (2,4 & 8). Villa is very large and right on the beach. Resort has pools and kids club and we went AI but if you don't have small kids then you maybe better heading into Santa Maria for food etc as the town is lovely. Weather was great and the beach is huge and was deserted, even during half term. Neil was great with communication and sorted out the transfer for us as well.

Spacious and comfortable villa in good location
We had an overall great stay in Neils villa, there were a few teething problems such as there weren't enough beds made up for all of us and problems with the Wifi but I stayed in touch with Neil the owner who was very prompt at responding to my e-mails and we got it sorted in a relatively timely manner. Neil was great at communication right from booking and was happy to answer any questions I had before we left which was fab. The villa was comfortable and very spacious for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 older children) and it was very well placed in the resort with the garden overlooking the beach right next to O'Grills restaurant/beach bar. This was definitely a plus for a sundown G&T! We did a lot of cooking as we didn't go all inclusive (something I would definitely consider next time as food and drink is very expensive everywhere on the island) and the kitchen was well equipped with most of what we needed. The beds were really comfortable and the villa was really quiet with no outside disturbance - you could hear the music coming from O'Grills around 5 - 7pm (which we liked) but other than that it didn't impact on us at all. When we did eat out we got a taxi into Santa Maria which is a 5 minute drive for around 2 or 3 Euros. The Taxis are always waiting outside the Hotel reception so it was very easy. Having use of the hotel facilities was great too and the kids took advantage of the pools in the complex but spent most of their time playing about in our own plunge pool (this was a massive plus point) or on the beach. We also went up to see the in house entertainment a couple of evenings which is good if that's your thing. All in all we had a really pleasant stay and would recommend the villa and the owner highly.
