”After I left this am the hotel is niw closed and ti be sold. News only made know to staff very recently.”

”After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. We were sweaty and grubby, and I just wanted a nice...

”Overall good stay”

”It was great value for our one night stay. If you’re looking for a location near the beach, train station and the bus stop to Ryde or Ventnor then it’s great. The rooms were small but the bed was comfy and we had tea and coffee provided in the room as well. Check-in and check out were really straightforward and everyone very friendly. Many thanks.”

”No breakfast included despite booking confirmation. Room ok but very much in need of repair. Bathroom provisions poor and needed to request additional ‘essentials’ having been left 1/4 a roll. ”

”Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also.”

”A lovely hotel and lovely staff. Great location. We are in the bar and food was excellent as well. There was a slight hiccup on our arrival due to a delayed ferry but the staff couldn't do enough for us after that. We will definitely return and recover.mend it to anyone”

”After an initial minor disappointment with our room we were really pleased with the way the staff handled the situation. We got a new room as soon as possible and after that everything was just great. Wonderful service, beautiful room, tasty breakfast - all you could look forward to a great holiday. Thank you !”

”A very nice weekend getaway. This hotel is well located, has very friendly staff and is well kept. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Also the pool is nice. The only minus was having our stay during a very hot weekend and having a room at the rear side of the hotel facing evening sun - no air conditioning… we still slept well!”

”Only thing we don't not enjoy about the hotel, was the breakfast and the knife was very blunt would not cut butter with them. Other than that, nice hotel”
