”Lovely large room for travelling with dogs. Very good food in the pub. No parking, but there is nearby parking available. Booking via Expedia the hotel did not get the info that we were travelling with dogs, we paid the surcharge and had a great room with easy access to take the dogs out. ”

”Quiet enjoyable break. Rooms and shower warm, service friendly and hotel clean. Jus one or two bits needed attention, however, they have signs stating that they are currently upgrading. Breakfast was great to start you off and the pool and gym are a bonus. Location good for walks and facilities in the town. We would come back for another stay if in Forfar”

”Absolutely beautiful lodge! We only had one night here, sadly, and wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious as well, and the views from the dining room are lovely. I would have loved to explore more of the Cairngorms from this location; I bet it would be the perfect place to stay for that too.”

”Management at breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. The only staff member was engaged in a heated conversation with another guest. There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. One staff member taking orders, serving food and clearing tables.”

”Wow! The photos don't do the place justice, its amazing! The communication and access are easy, on arrival a lady showed me the place, there's a set of 4 or 5 together which are seperate from the tourers etc. Theres nothing you don't need inside, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster etc and all top branded quality stuff. The units are very new and modern and have been decorated to the highest standard. The views are to die for and its a few minutes drive into Forfar. Cant wait to use...

”Lovely little property in the heart of rural Scotland: however, the property hadn't been cleaned or the beds changed prior to our arrival!
