”Super welcoming staff - really made a difference. This is a great place to stay if you’re flying to/from Stansted as it’s a far pleasant experience than the airport hotels. It was so lovely that I’d book a weekend break there to explore the local area more.”

”Loved the teapot in the room and real teacups. The outside tables were full of empty glasses & plates the 1st evening I stayed. No tables were bussed. Why? Rarely was there anyone at Reception. Why? Appreciated notices in hallway to remind guests not to disturb others, to close doors quietly etc. Beds were comfy, sheets were good quality, nice pillows. Who thought a wood shelf around the bathroom sink was a good idea?! No noise from neighboring rooms was a pleasant surprise. Shower gel was...

”Note that this is not normal hotel. Its rooms on upstairs of an Bub. Bed room and bathroom was where pretty okay just been renovated. Room did not have heating on when I arrived so takes a bit time to get heating on. Wifi was promised to include but it was external Wifi where you need to register and I dont do that on sudden hotels.. Rooms are not sound proof so you can hear moves on the hallway and other room discussions. There is no restaurant at the Bub(hotel) so NO dinner and no breakfast...
