The location is great and it has a good car park that costs £17 per day. It is close to the bus stop on the Promenade and makes it easy to visit Gloucester, Cirencester and other places. We enjoyed the breakfasts but Sunday lunch was disappointing. The staff were good.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were quite small, but nicely decorated. The one thing that bothered us was that the first room we got, smelled so badly of mold we had to change rooms. Wifi very poor. Poor selection of biscuits when the clubhouse is so remote and closed on an evening. Breakfast expensive for 1 sausage, 1 poached egg and two fatty rations of bacon and 1/2 a tomato & 1 slice of toast with no marmalade or butter.
