”A lovely warm welcome on arrival, a lot of time and effort has gone into the building making it very unique. Room was spacious and everything you need for a short stay including a fridge, Internet and a big screen TV .and an Ensuite with a powerful shower. Breakfast was amazing full English which i struggled to finish, real coffee and loads of toast. My first choice in Brighton from now on 5*”

”It was good price-value for staying relatively close to the airport. There was instant coffee and tea in the room which I always like as a small factor when doing on the road stop like this and not necessarily having full breakfast. Staff was okay and bed and facilities sufficient but nothing special. It was further away from the airport than I thought. ”Stayed here over the Festival weekend. Hanger Down House is just south of Arundel and a lovely 20 minute walk into the middle of Arundel. Alison is a lovely welcoming host. The 3 en-suite rooms are in a wing of the family home. Alison made us an amazing full English breakfast every morning in the guest only private breakfast room. ”Fabulous stay at stay @FL, wish we’d had more time at the actual venue as the surroundings are fantastic!! Very peaceful and Paul was great! We had a lovely breakfast of poached egg (resident chickens) and salmon/ham! Would defo recommend, also take walking shoes (trainers) and go for a walk!! ”

"Booked a suite. Arrived early, asked if any chance to get a room earlier because of travelling a lack of sleep. Told, the would call us if possible. No call.. sat at reseption… at 2pm asked again, reply was ”no it is 4pm”. Sat there and watched many guests check in at 2.30. We spoke to the manager and she was no help, just adamant, It turns out, you pay for a suite and you are left till last, so book a normal room, pay less and enjoy your room more. Cleaning: Room was not cleaned properly. Hair and crumbes everywhere. Carpet was taped in the main area with duck tape. Breakfast: no fresh pressed orange juice. Carton juice..cheap.. All ingredients poor. We were assigned a table by the window. Next morning different table. No order to service. This is certainly not THE GRAND "
