”Great location. The room was nice, if a little warm, the A/C wasn’t very powerful and our fridge didn’t work. However the room was very clean and had a nice feel to it.
The hotel in general had quirky decor which was interesting to look at. The breakfast was ok, but we were disappointed there wasn’t any cereal, pastries and other help yourself items.
The staff very very friendly and helpful.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

”This Race Course branch of the Chain does everything it says on the tin. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast choice.
Having to fork out for parking is unwelcoming. Outside of race days whats the point.... a few miles down the road the member of the chain doesn't charge. So I go there next time. Otherwise no beefs.”

”Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room. As did our daughter and son in law. Both rooms were lovely.
Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a great central location. We had room service for breakfast both mornings. Our daughter ate breakfast in the restaurant. Both were very nice.
The only downside was that we couldn’t get the room cool enough during the heatwave but the hotel were quick in providing us with a fan to help. We would highly recommend a stay at The Chester Grosvenor. We...

”The staff were friendly but very green, during an evening meal and breakfast we had to ask several times for things like water, coffee and toast and some of these things didn't arrive at all. They are pleasant but need more training on staying on top of orders and clearing the tables.
Breakfast is strange with you being charged £17 to have access to the continental and light breakfast menu, and then you having to pay an extra £5 for more premium items like a full English. Why not just say it...
