”Checking in to the property was easy and the room was clean and the kitchen well stocked with supplies. The apartment block however was incredibly noisy as there was a lot of street noise and noise from within the building from upstairs. The bathroom had horrible hospital flooring and the sink and shower were very small. The bed also was incredibly uncomfortable as the mattress had been worn down on one side leaving a lump in the middle. I also paid a little extra assuming I would have the room...

”Really lovely apartment and in a convenient location for getting to where we need to be. Although there are instructions about parking, it's pay & display and you can only stay in one place for 3 hours at a time, so it's worth looking up somewhere separate to leave your car (we had done this in advance so wasn't a problem for us). We had a problem staying connected to the wi-fi, my husband works in IT so was able to fix this, but probably needs looking into further by the owners. Also the...

”Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.”

”A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak....

"I had a great stay! The hotel building and atmosphere were truly amazing. The bedrooms from 12-17 got quite warm due to poor ventilation in the hallways, so that's something to be aware of. The gym was decent and the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi were a nice bonus. The breakfast was excellent, though the internet connection was a bit spotty. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again."
