It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. ”What a great find. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Cabins and it was prefect. Cabin had all the amenities one would for their stay. There is a wonderful restaurant, The Sprig, on property and the food was outstanding. Within a very short walk we found The Coffee Bothy which is a great place to grab coffee and breakfast. ”

”When we arrived, a note said to meet staff at their new restaurant (The Sprig) in the converted church. The staff were friendly and helpful, got us settled in quickly and made space for us in their very popular and underrated restaurant. The staff was very helpful through the stay.
