”The reception staff welcomed us in a friendly efficient manner a lovely lady - the room was great everything was spotless - bar staff were friendly - we had an evening meal i can recommend the Chicken & Ham Pie it was delicious- we had a great time at this hotel also we visited the Wookey Hole Cave a fantastic experience”

”The hotel is just minutes off the M5 but an easy bus journey into the centre of Bristol. We had a lovely evening in Bristol and easily got back to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The room had everything we needed and we had a choice of double or twin. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money. Lots of parking. We arrived a little early and it was no problem for us to check in.”

”Location was the only good thing about the hotel. Disappointed from the minute we arrived. The main entrance was more like a fire exit/side door out of a night club. Reception atmosphere was cold and clinical, self check in via online screens, no warm welcome from staff even though there were a few looking on. Check in not available until 3pm. My elderly parents and I arrived approx 12pm after travelling many hours with 2 small hand luggage, to attend theatre at 2pm, so I approached staff to ask...

”Overall room looks nice and tidy ,but for the last three weeks there was black hairs in the bathroom so not cleaned very well after reporting it twice before. Third time luck " no " On checking out saw the so called cleaner and ask her why room hadn't been cleaned properly with her arms crossed said your only one who moans about room ,very rude to a paying customer. I will contact the the manager and put my concerns across”

”Have stayed before and was very pleased. Lovely big rooms which are clean. Staff really pleasant at check in. Issues were only 1 towell in the bathroom in a room for 2 people so had to search around and a spare was in the wardrobe, no shower gel in the shower. Annoyingly, and not the hotels fault someone had set the alarm on the tv for 7am so we were woken by the tv switching itself on. Breakfast was really poor. There was no milk for drinks or cereal, we waited over 15 minutes for some to...

”Good hotel about 10mins walk from Cardiff Bay. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast seemed to be good quality plenty of choice and always topped up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking in Cardiff was a bonus. Only slight gripe was the noise from the dual carriageway behind the hotel. ”

”Clean room, but the desk lamp did not work properly as the bulb constantly flickered. Also, the wall light near the window did not work at all. We felt that these things should be checked by the cleaning staff on a daily basis as it wouldn’t take long to switch on a lamp and wall lights while dusting them. We reported the broken lights to the receptionist when we checked out the next day.”
