”Sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Essen ist gut. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Zeit zum einchecken ist mit 14 Uhr angegeben. Musste diesmal fast noch eine Stunde warten bis aufgemacht wurde. War nicht mein erster Aufenthalt dort und werde auch weiterhin dort übernachten.”

”We stayed on one of the warmest nights this year. A fan had been put in our room earlier on to ensure it was lovely and cool. The room was a good size. It was clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Parking is a plus. Good food in the pub too.”

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. ”Property is in such an excellent location right in the heart of the Main Street in Haworth. It is lovely inside and incredibly well equipped, and the owner Michael is so accommodating and welcoming. The property is upstairs above the shop, but it is very quiet and we heard no noise from downstairs. The car park is behind the shop, and there is a cobbled hill to walk up to get to the property. If it’s wet, this can be slippy but it’s a very short walk to go around the front to Main Street...

”Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. ”

”Did not like the abscence of humans until breakfast. The cook was obliging in making me a bacon butty for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean but a wee tired.”

”Very strict policies. Don't arrive early. Don't arrive late. Also be prepared for a long lecture about your duties and responsibilities as a paying customer. I don't think I've ever felt so stressed about staying at a hotel. I actually felt the need to take photos of all surfaces and rooms before check-out just to be prepared for the much advertised spot-checks. The funny thing is that with all the emphasis on guest-cleanliness there was a smell of mildew at the elevators and bathrooms, cobwebs...

”Lovely cooked breakfast, basic cereals & yogurts. Dinner was good, food nicely cooked and presented, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom clean and very comfortable. Happily recommend. ”
