”A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings, the staff were amazing so friendly welcoming & helpful. The hotel offers a few nice touches such as a packed lunch as well as welcoming drinks in your room. Our room was in a separate building, it was spacious & comfortably equipped if a little dated, our only issue was the intrusive noise from the room above, it was only a minor problem & we would happily stay here again”

”We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed with the overall look of the place but we had booked a suite which the room was not as en-suite was like a broom cupboard. Breakfasts were fantastic and coffe excellent but need to offer other meals such as dinner or afternoon teas which could be quite lucrative for them. Wal was always there for you and offered us one of their fans as hot during our stay and this was very much appreciated by my wife and I. Would book again no problem.”

”3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...
