”Friendly staff, room fantastic, very clean comfortable, nice shower room excellent views, great meals staff very good nothing to much, fantastic breakfast great selection of products. Fantastic hot tubs right temperature very relaxing. Fantastic value for money. I will ne definitely back.”

”We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. ”

”Great host, room spotless. Breakfast vegetarian and vegan, fantastic choice. My daughter who is dairy intolerant was delighted with choice that she had. Enjoyed the dolls dotted around. Most impressed with Spanish Armada tea pot!”

”Old Hall is a quirky, beautiful old building. The bedroom was cosy and clean. The reception staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast service was a little disappointed. We had to ask for water, brown sauce, baked beans, teaspoons and tables were left with dirty plates for longer than needed ”

”The bathroom was dirty, the toilet seat wasn't on straight. Blood on the bed sheet. Staff were not interested and unhelpful. We had to pay to park at the hotel when we arrived. We thought we would try to spa and we also had to pay for that. We asked for towels in the spa and the staff just shrugged and said there wasn't any. The changing rooms were dirty and no lockers to put valuables. The steam room was set at the temperature of the sun and the sauna wasn't on ”

”Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. ”

”The Bridge is a lovely place to stay and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have windows that open properly - and onto the river which is pretty. Easy parking and a good breakfast. Highly recommended.”

”The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.”

”Beware. The first photo paints a brighter picture than the reality, which is a courtyard at the back of a standard drinkers pub , which would never be described as warm and cosy. Despite the photo, the courtyard is full of wooden benches and a temporary structure for smokers. It's a simple bed and breakfast that is clean and if priced accordingly would be OK. Despite having to go through the pub the room was quiet. But it is not priced accordingly. I wouldn't recommend or stay again.”

”It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.”

”Although it was clean the room that I had this time needed some upgrading, for example there was no toilet roll holder, just holes in the wall where it had been, grout was missing between the bathroom floor tiles. The walk from the car park was completely dark and uneven/potholed. That made it unsafe. However, the staff made up for the poor impression that condition of the premises. Very good breakfast and good service.”
