”We had a wonderful stay at Lovesgrove Guesthouse. The gentleman who greeted us was friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humour, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was fantastic—a large Welsh breakfast that kept us going for a full day of walking! Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. ”Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.”

”It's a very good hotel, but it needs a lot of TLC lots of cobwebs that were there during our whole weeks stay.In the evening when having a drink in the reception area the kitchen door was left open so the noise was coming out.Small issues but important ones.The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall it was a good stay, but it could be a lot better. 7 OUT OF 10 I would return.”

”We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

”The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...

”The staff were absolutely brilliant, each one making you feel instantly at home and extremely well looked after. The owners are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area and the staff were really lovely. The house is beautifully preserved through time and retains its original features, which have been lovingly maintained. The rooms overlook a picturesque countryside and exude a peaceful atmosphere. Our rooms were comfortable, impeccably clean and generously proportioned...

”The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. ”

”We had really good stay. The property was fantastic with amazing views over the bay from the decking. Only downside was we had to provide our own towels & the tv constantly keep turning off. Other than that brilliant”

”Nice B&b , lugging heavy suitcases up stairs is a problem. They need a luggage elevator. Food and bar great. No ac and fan a bit noisy and old. Good parking .”

”The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.”

No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.”
