”Not all Hilton brands are equal.I'm used to Hilton Garden Inn. This Tru brand is more of an average Best Western. No coffee makers in room. Breakfasts were ho-hum to blahs especially scrambled eggs and meats. Staff kept TV in main lounge on Spanish speaking channels. This is in New Jersey. Obviously this was meant to entertain the staff, not the guests. Air conditioner was noisy. 1st room they put me in was a connecting room, where the loudly arguing couple on other side of door was unbearable....

”The pool not only didn’t have towels EVER… the lights are not on at night! It’s pitch black. When we asked for the lights to be turned on we were met with a nasty attitude from the staff. When we asked for towels for the pool they said to check the storage containers near the pool… the only thing in the container was spider webs and nasty other bugs! It’s a good thing no one hurt themselves in the dark parking lot pool!”

”Pleasantly surprising room after a very off-putting lobby. NO ELEVATOR, which could be an issue to some! Lobby and hallways are pretty gross, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Staff was really rude, but I honestly didn't really care. AC was working, parking was easy. Bed was really comfortable. Very good cheap option in the area if you just need a place to shower and sleep.”

”The front hotel staff was completely rude and told us we had to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND the hotel to get to the casino when there was a hallway connecting the 2. My mom had to walk down a hill because he was rude and didn’t even tell us where to go or what direction our room was. I won’t be going back.”

”Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel.”

”Really deserves 2.5 stars. Staff was pleasant and professional. Outside and room are a bit run down; but mostly clean. Room had a fridge and microwave but spotty internet and hot water with poor water pressure. Only 1 cup and 1 bar of soap for amenities. Not sure if there were other guests as it seemed most everyone there lived in the rooms, including the strong smell of pot in the morning. Place seemed safe enough though. I’d give it 2 stars but staff brought it up a bit. Ok for the night; but...

”Check-in and checkout was seamless. Staff was helpful when needed. Amenities were cool as well as complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.”

”This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Kartrite. Our rooms were clean we enjoyed the arcade and loved the indoor waterpark!”

”Breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast. Surrounding area was beautiful. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. History of the area is beyond fantastic. Where they lack is in sharing where to go to experience the incredible American history that the area affords - there should be material at the front and in every room sharing the history of the area and the incredible state and federal museums to explore! Do your research... Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!! ”

”Room was booked to sleep four: queen bed and pull out sofa. But the sofa only slept one (small person). Staff was kind enough to get us a cot for the 4th person. The original sheets on the pull out sofa were ripped and stained. Staff were again helpful and hot new linens. We had to shuffle the sofa a bit to fit the cot in. Then I noticed trash/rubbish that had been missed during cleaning. Staff were by far the best part of the stay. And not every hotel can be shiny and new. But...

”The front desk staff were awesome especially Dottie and Dena. They made the trip more enjoyable. Breakfast was great daily. The only issue I had was the hot water needs to be checked; the shower didnt stay hot and the water in the sink didnt stay hot. Other than that, it was a great experience.”
