”Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place.”

”Beds are squeaky upon moving and very uncomfortable. Staff unfriendly. Cable limited to 3 channels. Food in the area remote. Choices for food traveling back to Chéticamp about 12 miles away. Pricey to stay. No air conditioning in bedroom only. The living room area with one air conditioner for the entire space. So if you close the door to the bedroom your bedroom area becomes stuffy and hot. Checking out no friendly staff to thank you for your stay. Absent staff.”

”The room was very well appointed with so many nice touches. The bathroom was very luxurious too! We had a small maintenance issue and the chap came speedily and sorted it within minutes. We actually arrived quite late but the check in info was all very accurate and we had no problems gaining access to the property.”

”The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing....

”Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. Not given our room until 6 pm. Musty smell and sheets were wet on the bed. Ceiling leaking and left a puddle on the floor near outlets and cords. Entire room was just very dirty and grounds not maintained well at all. Lots of renovation items around and cluttered around property. We had to leave one night early because we just didn’t feel comfortable staying there for the second night”

”The motel needs some renovations but rooms were clean and beds comfortable. I would have liked if the window worked for some fresh air”

”A bit of a trip back in time.... It is an older facility. It was a basic accommodation, but the beds were comfortable and we slept okay. The walls are a bit thin, but people quieted down relatively early. It was a handy place to stay if you are getting on the ferry to Newfoundland.”
