”Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

”Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines. Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening. Other than that, we were satisfied.”

”Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

”Huoneen ikkunaa ei saanut kiinni, joten huoneessa oli kylmä niin kuin muuten koko talossa. Vettä sai valuttaa minuuttitolkulla, että tarkeni peseytyä. Ei hissiä, kuuluvuus käytävästä ja naapurihuoneista liian hyvä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen, aamiainen hyvin perinteinen englantilainen. Ei siis vihanneksia, vain raskasta ruokaa. ”This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. It is also well stocked with snacks and drinks. The restaurant downstairs was also nice. We parked our car in the public carpark opposite the hotel which was easy...

”Nice hotel with great location and extremely nice staff. They get us early breakfast in the room and answer all the questions we have. Breakdast buffet was also great and lot of healthy options. Gym was maybe the best hotel gym i've ever visited. Spa was nice bonus and 20 meter long swimming pool was so cool because you can really do the swimming exercise there if you wanted to. ”

”If you just need a bed for the night then this place is OK - but just OK. V small room - like smaller than a Paris hotel room (Cardiff is not Paris!) and no amenities at all - no tea/coffee, no hairdryer - not even a hand towel. Room so small that the TV is up high on the wall opposite the bed and it was almost impossible to bend down in shower to pick up own toiletries it was so small. No sign of breakfast or anything like that. We wouldn’t stay again - a bit too basic. It was clean and bed was...
