”Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new.”

This was not a luxury room, it had no windows and no wardrobe / drawers to put our clothes away in except 4 hangers on a rope. Our bathroom bin wasn't cleaned properly each day, so I had to ask for it to be emptied and we also woke up to cockroaches in the room. ”The view from our room was amazing! The location was convenient to everything in town and the surrounding towns! If you are driving just know that the parking offsite is about an 8 minute walk! Very easy but we hired a tuk tuk after check in to get out luggage! Very reasonable!”

”We had a beautiful suite with a wonderfully comfortable mattress, and couch. There was a direct and great view of the beach, located in the historic part of the city. the staff was accommodating, and made you feel like family. The included breakfast was acceptable. My one suggestion for improvement would be to have counter space for toiletries and storage space for unpacking your suitcase. Otherwise near perfection.”

”it was a great experience. they had a lot where they picked us up and our luggage. we left the car there and from there on they took care of everything. we had breakfast in the room and a beautiful terrace with a jacuzzi. the staff gave us great restaurant recommendations as well”

This is the only area of improvement I'll have to suggest, as working on the premises often took place at 0730 (i.e. change of faulty AC unit in the room next door, cutting branches with power-equipment, and even the cleaning of the rooms), as these slighlty disturbed if you wish to sleep until 09-10...
