”A bit difficult to find in the old city with a car. They also did not tell us that door would be locked and buzzer was not obvious. Otherwise room was wonderful in townhouse. Breakfast was terrific and Monopoli was the finest town yet on this Puglian adventure. We wished we had stayed another night. They also took care of our car and brought luggage and us to our room! Not that way for use in Matera where cost of room exceeded DFb”
”What a gem of a hotel. Only a 45 min walk into Monopoli for those that are interested (uber/taxis are few and far between).
The hotel grounds are immaculate, littered with olive trees and colourful flowers.
The staff are attentive, polite and speak excellent English. Nothing was too much of a hassle.
Breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and Bacon, sausage and a selection of eggs etc. made to order fresh. We also had a pizza from the pool menu and it was excellent.

”Gamlebyen i Monopoli anbefales. Play del Mar var et et meget godt valg. Kun 5 rom, med kort veg til strand og azurblått hav. Stranden var liten, men mulig å finne plass i sanden eller på klippene. Svømmebassenget var baee 40cm dypt, men deilig etter en kveld i den sjarmerende gamlebyen. Air condition fungerte for rundt 30 grader, men burde nok oppgraderes. This is the only area of improvement I'll have to suggest, as working on the premises often took place at 0730 (i.e. change of faulty AC unit in the room next door, cutting branches with power-equipment, and even the cleaning of the rooms), as these slighlty disturbed if you wish to sleep until 09-10... Whenever we needed anything he would immediately get it for us and he gave us great suggestions for what to do in Monopoli.
