Huvilat – Calheta

”The view is the best feature of the accommodation. The “market” is also a nice amenity. The rooftop has exceptional views. The kitchen was well-appointed with complimentary coffee pods, which was nice. Near a full grocery at the marina (but a warning not to use the store’s parking garage. You may never get out!) we easily fixed breakfast every morning. The apartment itself is small. Furnishings are very minimal. A small couch, small plastic dining room chairs. ”Super Haus mit allem drum und dran.”

”Una casa genial, fuimos en marzo y estaba helada. El proprietario en seguida nos proporcionó otro radiador.”

”When you say Madeira, people say, hiking, activities, food. You can go to the main city Funchal, and you can do many things during your stay. When you are seeking for more calm and an stunning environment then Calheta is the place to be. A little bit outside the city you find the lovely Prazeres town, with nice trips to Port Montiz and near the coastal line you have a great place for a vacation.”

”We enjoyed our stay at Tropical Villa. The villa is located uphill in a quiet neighbourhood and it was lovely to sit outside on an evening looking out to sea and watching the stars come out. We particularly appreciated the pool and the parasols (three) in the pool area. The villa was very well stocked and comfortable.”

Alles was perfect. Het huis is prachtig. De host was heel vriendelijk, persoonlijke aandacht en direct in communicatie. De ligging was mooi. Absolute aanrader.”

”If you like modern styles, comfort and spaciousness, then you will love this property. It is very well equipped and exceptionally clean. The pool, outside patio and barbecue area was a luxury to us, even just to look out onto as it was sadly too chilly for most of our stay in November to make full use of the area. We really enjoyed the quiet rural location and the fact that you could just walk along the levadas from the house or into the small town of Ponta do Pargo. It was a great location...
