”This rental is one of the best rentals that I have stayed in for many reasons, but I’ll just list the top ones. It was quiet, very clean (no smells or fragrances), safe, very modern with beautiful decor/appliances/furniture, the beds were extremely comfy with lots of pillow options to choose from, big kitchen and well stocked to bake/cook (which I need to cook all my meals so I felt it provided all the necessary cooking tools etc), the owner was very responsive and considerate to my unique needs...

”It was more beautiful than the pictures and peaceful. I thought there would have been more traffic on the water but only a few boats. The hottub was my favorite part with a book and a spectacular view. It was amazing, we highly recommend. ”

Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. From the water, it definitely takes away from the beauty of this house compared to neighboring properties. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to the dock but we all managed...

”We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”

”My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. ”We had a lovely stay at Smith Mountain Lake Cottage. We brought our two college age children and Golden Retriever. It was the perfect home base for kayaking on the lake and hiking at Smith Mountain Lake State Park and Peaks of Otter. We had lots of indoor and outdoor space at the house. It was clean and everything was well kept. Our hosts responded to communications quickly. We would definitely recommend this house rental.”
