”The place was clean and bedding comfortable. The 2 bedroom listing was a bit deceiving, the 2nd bedroom also includes the kitchenette, dining area and no living or lounging space. The space was very tiny and cramped. The 1 bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom was in there. There was only 1 window and it was high on the wall. The outdoor space was very small. For me it felt a bit claustrophobic and not worth the price we paid.”

”The cottage is very cozy and very clean and easy to find. The location was isolated enough that you couldn't hear the traffic but close enough to the highway to make access easy.
It was a bit strange that there was no microwave. The cottage is mainly heated with a wood stove, but we were really not supplied with the things we needed to start a fire. And the property was not even close to being accessible for anyone with leg issues or injuries because of the steps without railings and the tub...

”Awesome cozy house in Arcata. This was one of our stops from our roadtrip up to Oregon from Los Angeles. After staying in cottages in Carmel and Mendocino it was nice to have the relaxing feeling of a house. Our dog enjoyed the yard a lot for roaming. Hope to return. Highly recommend if you are considering staying here.”

”This is a delightful location. It's very peaceful and quiet. The burgeoning garden outside the door is lovely! It's possible to walk up the street and right onto a hiking path through a redwood forest, and have the path essentially all to yourself. Julia went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had in making my reservation. She's a kind and hospitable host! Highly recommended.”

”We loved the house! It had all the amenities we needed. It was clean, plenty of plush towels and the hot tub and sauna were so fun for our family. The location is perfect with an awesome market in walking distance that has organic veggies and delicious prepared foods, smoothies, coffee drinks and a large selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. My only suggestion is for a child proof lock on the door for the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!”

Nice quite big hotel. Parking is a bit confusing around the hotel, mediocre breakfast.
