Vaikka kaikki mukavuudet, joita saatat tarvita kaupungista, on 5 minuutin päässä Stanwoodista, retriitti sijaitsee saaren kulmassa, joka tuntuu maailmalta pois. Ilman läheisiä naapureita tai teitä yön hiljaisuus antaa sinulle rauhallisen rentoutumisen. Uuden unen jälkeen voit herätä kaljuiden kotkien ja alpakien pehmeän huminaa vastaan.
Tärkein oleskelutila avautuu kahdelle suurelle kanavalle, jotka sopivat erinomaisesti grillaamiseen tai ulkoiluun, josta on upeat näkymät Port Susanille ja Mount Rainierille. Suuri nurmikko on rajattu kauniisiin puutarhoihin. Talon alempi taso sopii lapsille, joilla on kaksi kerrossänkyä, pingispöytä ja paljon tilaa liikkua. Jos haluat käyttää tätä tasoa muuhun, vuoteet ja pöytä voidaan helposti poistaa ja korvata pöydillä ja tuoleilla tai muilla kalusteilla. Ulkouima pickleball / koripallokenttä viihdyttää tuntikausia. Jos olet luonnonsuojelualueella, meillä on yhden kilometrin yksityinen metsäreitti vain vieraille. Se on loistava paikka lintujen tarkkailuun ja metsän energian nauttimiseen. Hard to even know what to say about a property that is so unique and beautiful. The home is an architectural treasure. The view cannot be topped. Private walking path through the woods on the property provided ample exploration of native trees and plants, as well as interaction with the bald eagle nesting on the property. And then there are the alpacas….feeding them with Karen and Hugo was an experience none of my family will forget. If convenience is your thing there are groceries and anything else you might want in a five minute drive. Hands down I would do it again. And again. And again.

The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and well kept. We had a short stay, but definitely enjoyed our time there and had plenty to explore on the property. The Alpacas were beautiful and very friendly to my kids!

Our family was in town for a wedding and we all loved the house. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful alpacas. The house was very clean, spacious and well stocked. Plenty of space for our group of ten. Pickleball and ping pong were big hits too. Highly recommend!

The entire family agreed that this was one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in. It was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The adults appreciated the peace and quiet and the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views. The children enjoyed the basement, especially the ping-pong table and the outdoor areas that allowed for catch and running around. Karen was a very responsive host and thought of every detail for our stay. The cherry on top of the beautiful property was the opportunity to feed the alpacas. Thank you Karen and Hugo for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Karen is a great host and the place is extremely beautiful and very clean! This is a perfect place to go and just enjoy the beautiful nature with friends and family. We really appreciate them for letting us feed the alpacas that’s definitely one of the high points of our trip. The lowest point was that we only booked the place for one night :( we will definitely be back to stay longer!

My parents had their 60th wedding anniversary celebration on Camano Island and many friends and family stayed the weekend. My group of aunts and cousins got to stay on the Alpaca Farm and enjoy the welcoming space, expansive views, and talking to the sweet alpacas! The serenity was bliss! The hosts were very welcoming and the home was immaculate. It was a beautiful place to be! Thank you!

This amazing property and home far exceeded our expectations. We VRBO all over the world and this place is easily in our top three worldwide. Extremely well managed, location is great, private, and well equipped with all the essentials. I give this place a 12 out of 10 and would not hesitate to recommend this property to any family looking for the ranch style outdoors classic pacific coast experience. We spent 3 nights and 4 days- sad to leave

We had a wonderful family time at this beautiful property. The house is fun for everyone and was very easy to access for our ADA access requiring grandfather. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong setup and everyone enjoyed the views and feeding the Alpacas! Thank you for offering this great property!

We had an incredible stay at the Alpaca Retreat. The property itself has a view looking out on the water and the photos don't even do it justice. Everything we needed was there right when we arrived and it was a perfect house for our group of 10. There is even an extra fridge that we could use for beverages AND we got in touch with the owners who let us FEED THE ALPACAS before we left. Would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone who is looking at it :) Thank you!

This property has absolutely stunning views that pictures don’t do justice. It’s located on a working farm so our little one loved getting to see the Alpacas, goat, and horse. The inside of the house is gorgeous and equipped with what you need for your stay. The hosts were very kind and quick to answer any questions we had and even organize a “meet & feed” with the Alpacas. These are not negatives, just more of an fyi: There is limited wifi unless you bring your cord to connect into their tower which improved speed and also there are no tv’s. But there are plenty of games, books, and acres to get outside and enjoy the beauty! We would absolutely stay here again :)

This was the perfect stay.. we went north for whale watching east for a German town and of course into Seattle. The kids loved the animal's it was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped to make any meals we wanted .We take the kids and grandkids on a trip once a year and stay at vbro homes. This is in our top 2. Thank you Beth

This property was perfect for our family to stay as it was close to the venue our daughter was getting married at. The surroundings were more beautiful than even pictured. The alpacas were so cute and always made us smile as we drove in and out. The house had all we needed. Each bathroom had plenty of towels. Kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, cute alpaca mugs, etc. We had a large group of family for lunch and it was the perfect size for everyone and Karen was very good about communicating and gracious to agree. Check in and check was super easy. I only wish we had an extra couple days to relax, sit on the deck and enjoy the view. Our daughter is now living in Mount Vernon so I'm sure we will be back. Thank you so much to Karen and Hugo!

Gorgeous home with beautiful views. Enjoyed playing ping pong downstairs and visiting the alpacas--and was graciously offered (via text) the chance to feed them. We arrived to find a custom greeting written on a small chalkboard, on a table alongside a bowl of snacks. What a warm welcome. Would love to stay again.

This is a fantastic place to visit.. The house is beautifully built and very well-stocked. The view from the main living area is excellent and the two patios are great to relax on. There is plenty of space around for outdoors activities and if the weather is bad, there is a ping-pong table on the lowest floor. The alpacas were a hit with all the kids (and their parents too). Karen is an excellent host and she responded to all our queries very promptly and helpfully. There are 2 supermarkets close by, if you need to buy anything: the QFC in Stanwood and the Camano Plaza IGA further on the island. We are looking forward to visiting again!

There's not a single thing that could have made this lovely home better. From the attentiveness of the owner ( there when we needed, and not there when we didn't), to the peacefulness of the farm and woods, and beauty of the water, to the setup and layout of the house itself -- everything was perfect for our 6 adults and 1 almost 3 year old. The eagles, owls, hummingbirds...and of course the sweet alpacas...were icing on the cake.
