”Arriving at the property via the small lanes not helped by GPS navigation led to very low expectations. Once inside the gate there was a surprise. The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings. Worth a stay and visit to ARLES and ST REMY. Just be sure to have good directions to find the Havre de Paix, Excellent breakfast served with fruit, cheese, cut meats, cereal, coffee, juices,...

”The hotel is as you would expect - basic, but clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and the pastries in particular were very good. Only negatives: (1) the AC in my room needed a service. The fan was incredibly noisy on the high setting, so I turned it to low. Which meant there was no white noise to drown out loud neighbours, some of whom only arrived around 3 AM (2) the room was very clean, save for the crushed corpses of several mosquitoes (and the...
