Hotel has a historical feel with modern decor and amenities. The location was excellent as well. Close to Duomo. May go back to Orvieto just to stay here again (we only were in town one night this trip). â

âOne-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.â

The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.â

âThe villa is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts are excellent. There is also the added advantage of plenty of parking. Our stay was only relatively short (4 nights) but we could happily have stayed at Hotel Villa Ciconia for several weeks. â

Der Zug der hinter dem Hotel vorbei fĂ€hrt ist bei offener BslkontĂŒr sehr laut, bei geschlossener TĂŒr ertrĂ€glich. Badezimmer klein, aber es hat alles was man braucht. GroĂer Pluspunkt ist die NĂ€he zur Autobahn, ich hatte dort beim Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Calabria ĂŒbernachtet.â
