”Very friendly staff who were attentive and chatty. Always saying that if you needed anything else just ask. Breakfast was lovely. Ideally situated close to the river which made for a very pleasant walk alongside the river into the City just 5 minutes away. Room was clean and tidy. A lovely 3 night stay. My only criticism is that the wi-fi was very hit and miss, frustratingly dropping out very often.”

”What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...
