We also really appreciated the amount of towels we had in our room, with a family of 6 we usually always have to ask for more towels, but this place gave plenty (10 towels!). There is a beautiful beach right down the road, with a playground and kayak rental. We walked, it was about 14 minutes, but...

”My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....
